China National Arts and Crafts Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CNACGC) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Poly Group Corporation and a leading comprehensive arts and crafts group in China. In 2007, with the approval of the State Council, CNACGC was established through the merger of two central enterprises: China National Arts & Crafts Import & Export. Co., Ltd., founded in 1966, and China National Arts & Crafts Group Corp. Limited, founded in 1972. Both enterprises made significant contributions to the national economy, the reform and growth of the arts and crafts industry, and the gold market.
CNACGC has now established a comprehensive industrial chain in the arts and crafts sector, encompassing raw material trading, research and manufacturing, product design, brand management, channel marketing, and recycling. It is also accelerating its entry into strategic emerging industries related to precious metal new materials, such as information technology, biopharmaceuticals, and new energy.
For several consecutive years, CNACGC has ranked first in overall strength within China’s arts and crafts industry. It serves as the Vice Chairman Unit of the China Arts and Crafts Association, the China representative of the World Crafts Council, and is a founding member and Vice President Unit of the China Gold Association. CNACGC plays a key role in the establishment of several key markets, including gold, diamonds, and gemstones. As one of the founding members of the Shanghai Gold Exchange, it holds two board seats and is one of the seven pricing merchants for “Shanghai Silver.” The company is also a major shareholder of the China Gems & Jade Exchange (Shanghai) and the Shanghai Diamond Exchange. Additionally, it owns the only bonded warehouse in China capable of serving both the main board and international board of the Shanghai Gold Exchange, as well as a refinery certified by both the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) and the Shanghai Gold Exchange for standard gold ingot delivery. CNACGC boasts three major brands with the “China” prefix: “China National Arts & Crafts,” “SINOGEM,” and “China Goalmark.” In 2024, the “SINOGEM” brand ranked 291st on the “China 500 Most Valuable Brands” list, with a brand value of 36.6 billion yuan.
CNACGC aims to be the “main driver” of Poly Group’s stable operations, the “growth engine” for high-quality development, the “key word” for the Poly brand, and the “guardian” of Chinese cultural heritage.
